WHO I AM
Where my family
calls home.
For 23 years, I have called the Cowichan Valley home. Cobble Hill is where my family lives, works, raises children and now grandchildren. Four generations of my family live on the same road, just minutes from Cobble Hill Village.
This is my community, and it is where my heart is. I am a husband of 28 years, a proud father of two and, most recently, a very proud grandpa.
I have owned and operated a small business in the Valley for 18 years. I have volunteered with the Malahat Legion, coached Kerry Park Minor Hockey for more than a decade, and spent 55 years as a member of the Victoria Aqua Ski Club on Shawnigan Lake, including many years on its board and volunteer team.
Community involvement has always been important to me. Now I believe it is time to take that commitment one step further.

A representative
who listens.
Like many people, I have been somewhat complacent about local politics over the years. I was busy working, raising a family and volunteering in the community. I assumed our elected representatives were listening and that our interests were being well represented.
The turning point for me was in November 2025 when 6 out of 9 Area Directors voted in favour of the New Official Community Plan. This was a tone deaf decision that clearly did not represent the will of our community.
That is why I am putting my name forward. I believe the role of an elected representative is to represent the people who elected them—not simply to make decisions on their own behalf.
Community isn’t a program. It is a passion and it starts and ends with the people who call this place home.
I respect the work of the incumbent, but I believe it’s time for the next generation to step forward. I’m ready to listen, lead and give Area C the strong voice it deserves.

A member of the club on Shawnigan Lake for 55 years, Jeff has spent many of those years serving on its board and volunteer team.
Malahat Legion volunteer
Jeff volunteers with the Malahat Legion and has said that, "helping those who have made the ultimate sacrifice has been one of the most humbling experiences in my life."
